Health Care for Segmenting Population Management

Interpreta is the leading healthcare analysis tool for managing patient care and navigating mandated requirements. The Population Management tool is part one of a larger project to be used in capturing data for reporting and submissions to NCQA and HEDIS.

The beginning of the project started with talking through and capturing the entire scope of all the pieces and how they fit together. Working closely with our resident expert, we dove deeply into how this is done by other companies, where they fail and steps we could do to improve the process. Positioned this new module for admin use with very specific skill set in mind. Not built for a standard user, the end result of the user is to create reports for submission to monitoring agencies.

Taking this information to build out wireframes and user flow. The prototype helped to demonstrate the process, challenged the status quo, and opened conversations to expand and improve.

The evolution to the Population Management tool took great strides in visualizing the tool, and understanding how to make it more dynamic for the user. Delivering real-time population numbers and advanced expression building made the tool exceed the expectations of the product owner.
